Service Dogs UK - Could an assistance dog help you?

The charity was founded in 2015 in answer to a pressing need to support our Veterans with PTSD; we are passionate about helping our Armed Forces and Emergency Services and passionate about dogs from rescue... we want to change lives for the better, two at a time! In 2018 Service Dogs UK won the Soldiering on Award for Animal Partnership and also became full ADI/ADEu Members in October 2021. We operate our South Coast Programme in West Sussex which serves Sussex, Hampshire and Surrey along with another Hub based in Somerset and our newest Hub in Essex - all serve surrounding counties.

If you think you would benefit from an assistance dog please contact the charity on getintouch@servicedogsuk.org.  If you are not in an area they cover then please still get in touch with them, they are sure to have contact for other such organisations throughout the country.

There are many ways to help this charity, fundraising, training or fostering a dog until it’s placement.  All vital roles in making sure Veterans receive the support they deserve.
